  Ethiopia sends aid to thousands stranded by floods
ADDIS ABABA, Aug 15 (Reuters) - Ethiopia sent five motorboats on Tuesday to deliver food and begin rescuing some 10,000 people stranded after heavy rains caused a river to overflow killing 125 people in the remote south.
That brought the probable death toll from flash floods in Ethiopia to more than 600 people in the last 10 days after two rivers in the south and east of the Horn of Africa nation burst their banks.

The computer billionaire was in Cape Town where he toured Aids and tuberculosis clinics and made remarks ahead of a two-day Microsoft Government Leaders' Forum, which he will attend as well as former US president Bill Clinton.
