Ethiopian Beauty arrives in China

Simgen Arega one of the top five Finalist from this years Miss Universe Ethiopia® contest has arrived safely in China for the start of her role as an ambassador for Ethiopia, she will be participating in the 2006 Miss Tourism Queen International contest, over 80 countries are participating in this event and the girls will be touring China and visiting many exciting places, and the finals will be screened live to over 500 Million people.

Miss Tourism Queen International Pageant is a platform that allows different nations a chance to promote their country and Siemgen will be proudly promoting Ethiopia at this event, she has several very nice Ethiopian cultural dresses to show the people and will also take part in many events aimed at showcasing Ethiopia. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has also given her their blessing and support by giving her some materials about Ethiopia to take to the event that will help to promote Ethiopian culture and Tourism,

Simgens trip is the first to almost 15 trips that girls from the Miss Universe Ethiopia organisation will be making all under the exclusive sponsorship of Mr Andy Abulime and His Ethiopian life foundation, several more trips are planned in the coming months to: Miss Tourism of the Globe® 2006, Miss Tourism Planet® 2006, Miss Tourism International® 2006 and many more, and as in previous years, no other beauty contest or anybody in Ethiopia does this or can offer these opportunities for any one or dedicates so much time and energy to this sort of positive promotion of Ethiopia. This year Mr. Andy also sponsored delegates from Kenya, Uganda and Republic of Congo to the same contest in a sign of his shift towards boarding his horizons and entering into new partnerships and alliances with other African countries who better appreciate his efforts

And so once again Mr Andy in 2006 is proudly and unselfishly promoting Ethiopia all by himself, out of his deep love for Ethiopia and bears all the Financial responsibilities, and it shows his character when you consider all he went through recently at the hands of certain people in Ethiopia, and whilst many of the very people that banded together and who mercilessly attacked and criticised him recently with so much vile hatred and venom have all now gone into hiding and are silent feeling they have done a good job:

No doubt they will surely reappear next year at his show again only to write rubbish after the show, and to these so called “journalist of negative persuasion” who have made a career out of their constant love of criticising Mr Andy every year, we would ask point blank “What have you done recently for, or what do you positively do for the same Ethiopia you say is “yours” and you love so much?”

They should all be ashamed of their recent negative and unpatriotic actions.
