"AKosmbishtato Wuney Wosidato" -For The World Daddy With The Blue Helmet

This song is picked for the "UNMEE" (United Nation Peace Keeping Mission In Eritrea and Ethiopia) who is having good time in Eritrea Towns and in Asmara city. The Tigringa "Kombishtato Wuney Wosidato" for English " Kombishtato the one who kidnapped my Heart and Soul"?

Kombishtato is the center city (Down Town) of Asmara. This business area was built by Italians, and it was only allowed for Italians only to entertain & do business (prohibited for Eritreans, It will consider as tress 
passing). Long live to Ethiopians for librating them from Italians, it is now a business center & visitors attraction (Kombishtato is now allowed not for all Eritreans but only for EPLF supporters and foreigners)

Kombishtato is a beautiful center, well built by Italians. If it was not for this center area, Asmara (the only attracting city in Eritrea) could have been monotonous. It is here in this central area where prostitution, bars and other business activities is conducted, almost day and nighttime.

It is here in this area where the UNMEE (Peace Keeping Forces) and the Taxi drivers do business. The UNMEE soldiers are not only using the Taxi drivers to shuttle them back and forth, but also they used them as a messengers
between them and the prostitutes. The UNMEE soldiers are the Taxi drivers favorite source of income ever since Eritrea consider as independent country. If it was not for UNMEE forces the Taxi drivers could have hard time wining 
their daily bread.

Let me quote what Awate.com in its editorial headline "Maatot-: Harvest Misery (June26, 2002) had to say regarding the fate of the Eritrean young generation under Isayas Afeworki's PFDJ the newly freed Eritrea.

"During the last ten years the PFDJ has demonstrated that it can send them to a war it ignites or to a slave labor it
turns. It has robbed children of their innocence. Prostitution has become rampant. The number of children born out of
wedlock has drastically increased. Aid is *harvesting*many youth by the day. Girls are finding in child bearing an out
let to freedom from Sawa and they are walking that outlet"

As you have read above prostitution is the highest concerning issue in Eritrean society now days. And it is sadly also an open job available to survive in Eritrea. It is through this channel the Taxi man makes his MONEY.
There is another important client to the Taxi driver* UNMEE* The UNMEE soldiers who are on vacation and sick leaving and other reasons  wondering in Asmara and other small towns are good friends of the taxi drivers.
The taxi men are servers to the UNMEE soldiers as a *window*. They are the  Middlemen to transport the prostitutes to designated places, or to transport the UNMEE soldiers to unlicensed bars or underground liquor places or what is best  known as "SEcRETO".

The soldiers are having good time with the beautiful young Eritrean women ever dreamed of in their mission to Eritrea. (I am sure their saying may God Bless Isayas and Meles). As most of us recall our Eritrea sisters were ghastly degraded by their Eritrean brothers for marrying or dating an Ethiopian. The bias & the Eritrrean premature 
level of thinking has seeing their sisters getting pregnant and having babies from Philippines, Yemeniya, Denish, Pakistanian, Italians (you name it….) as we speak at this moment and did Say nothing.
I bet they are nice and generous to the Eritreans. As one Taxi driver  commented " Thanks to UNMEE my children are sipping hot tea in the morning and  evening " The more the taxi man bring and transport more prostitutes the more
money he made, at the same time more BLUE EYE babies are replacing the dead number of Eritrian population during the war with Ethiopia (that is good news for the small Eritrean population & the Eritrean bigots loved it!! ). 

We congratulate the Eritreans who cursed the Eritrean women very badly for dating Ethiopians, to those who use commenting *it is much preferable to marry  a white man than to marry Ethiopian* Their wish comes true! They got what their bigoted ego wished. We congratulate them for having blue eye nephews and nieces from all over All over the world as their wish prophesy. We hope & pray the Eritrian bigots to enjoy their new born family members, we also pray the new born Eritro/Philipino, and Eritro/…/ .. To be a Good Samaritan Eritrean  citizen for the future. We also pray for the half-caste newborn Eritrean babies of the blue helmet not to be a target of the Eritrean Bigots. This is because we
know from our experience, most Eritreans are modeled to be a racist. We know habits die-hard. The old are difficult to change. But the young Eritrean racist worried me the most. We pray the newborn families from UNMEE of Eritreans,
to be well fed and hugged by Eritrean families, and as we say this, we also like to play the record "Kombishtato Libey Wosidato" the favorite the song of the week for the UNMEE soldiers.

What a peace keeping model! Exiting! Isn't it?
