WPC announcement on the alleged "peace prize"

Dear Sir / Madam, 

With great surprise we were informed that, on your web site (www.tigrai.org), there has been an article with the title "WPC awards the Banda" where it appears that WPC awarded a peace prize to Mr. Meles Zenawi. 

WPC press bureau wishes to declare that no such award was given by our organization in the past or will be given this year to anyone, and therefore we never announced any such action. All other information on this subject, wherever they originate from, should be considered as false and deceptive. More information on WPC’s believes and activities can be found on our official web site www.wpc-in.org.
