TWO FLAGS     ONE MUDDLE
Tsegay Gebriye of London  Are you in the muddle too?

He
Is

BY: Dr. G Bekele (20 June 2002)

He’s a man of great common sense and good taste – meaning thereby a man without originality or moral courage

“I have just read your second lousy comments buried in the back pages of Tigrai Net. You sound like a frustrated old man who never made a success, an eight-ulcer man on a four-ulcer job, and all four ulcers working. I have never met you, but if I do you’ll need a new nose and plenty of beefsteak and perhaps a supporter below”. Would you fancy that as a starter for your last supper?

Listen, you contumacious rat, don’t throw your dreary toms at me. I’ll give you an elegant dinner and sing to you between the courses if you can produce one writer or speaker, with an ear for the English language that uses “disinterested” in the sense you are now trying to bolster up a ghetto barbarism I had previously thought confined to the vocabularies of should I say Shakespeare? Ha! Ha! Ha!

How dare you ridicule my article? Vulgar, distasteful, loosely written article fraught with contradictions then “your main and the only complaint” was about “Meles’s stature”. You only picked one of the humorously stated proverbs. Furthermore, you seemed to have agreed that Meles could assassinate colleagues and murder innocent people but he shouldn’t be “character assassinated” by pen. And Meles again can “desecrate” the Ethiopian flag but should not be “abused”. What a load of rubbish? Are you fighting for Meles’s good name?

 Although I recognize you as a man of wit I realize it is not of the spontaneous order. There is nothing of the Whistler about you …You, like the mills of God, grind slow, and I might add, grind exceedingly small. I am at a loss to explain how you should so far forget your pose as to express [your feelings] in such a laborious and boorish fashion, exposing to my astonished understanding the indication of a nature so calculating, petty, malicious and uncivilized, in short so strangely sub-human, as to realize almost, I should say the popular estimate of your character. Well, is that clear or I had to write you “educational articles”?

Although you have long placed yourself out of the pale of civilization, still I am one who will not be insulted, even by a yahoo, without chastising it. When I read your virulent attacks upon myself, and at the same moment paying the penalty of similar virulence to another individual (Getachew Reda) on whom you had dropped your filth seems that you declined the consequences of your libertine harangues. I have no patience whatever with gorilla damnifications of humanity.

If it had been possible for you to act like a gentleman, you would have hesitated before you made your foul and insolent comments. I admire your scurrilous allusions to my so-called “insanity”. With regard to your taunts as to my want of success in my Article, permit me to remind you that I had nothing to appeal to but the good sense of the real people. Unfortunately, the more we do some thing well, the less praise we get from people like you, jealousy of course. I believe that all of your criticisms are “pious, hypocritical and entirely manufactured”. As for the bashing of Meles and now you, I think you two had digged your grave with your teeth. After this “Tsegay is a dead man walking in London”. Aren’t you?

You “Homer The Blind and Thick Head”, read my Article again on (word format) the sixth paragraph of Page 2. I said a Shaebian Agent with short legs” NOT all people of the world with short legs. Hence I have not ridiculed all short people or annoyed millions as you mistakenly implied but only a Shaebian Agent, called Meles. Haven’t you got a sense of humor at all? You should be old enough to know worse. As they say “supreme common sense is worth a great deal more than intellect”. If you lack these, your mind must be a kind of sulphur-pit.

I am distressed to find that I should have driven such a dignified gentleman into the lamentable laps of a series of tu quoques. But I might have known that would happen! I sprinkle myself with a few ashes and must leave you for the present to ruminate on how back bitting, shittiness and every mean practice is the specialty of your “sub-human” and bestial enemies whom you confound. Brazilian writer Miller Fernandes confirms, “In order not to see reality, the Ostrich sinks its head in the television set”. Wouldn’t you like to see the realities of our nation?

Tsegay my friend, read this: “Good things come in little packages” hence I love all short men and women of the world except a short Shaebian Agent called Abebe. Am I not a brave and dare devil Ethiopian? Phew!! Have another one: “Loyalty is like respect – it is earned and can never be demanded”. You should know therefore, why the Ethiopian public lost its love and respect for your Super Hero Meles. That is why too, we are all bashing him and his cronies. So please stop defending the murders and the traitors. And if you can’t stand the heat don’t come near the fire. Above all stop flirting and keep writing your articles.

Tsegay,

            “Fear less, breath more; eat less, chew more;
Whine less, breath more; talk less say more;
Hate less, love more,

And all good things are yours”.
  -  (Swedish proverb)

Brother, Is Meles a human being at all? Is he not rather a disease? Admit it!

“Every great man nowadays has his disciples, and it is always Judas who writes the biography”.

When do you think then Judas sorry Tsegay you will make Meles’s biography ready for us? Stop worrying and start living! Stop arguing and start writing!

Long Live Mother Ethiopia!!
