ERITREA- MELES's PREDATOR

It seems to me most strange why Meles, the Prime Minister of Ethiopia is going to great lengths to appease Eritrea at the expense of Ethiopia in general and the Tigrean Ethiopians in particular. Does he realize that this is contrary to the best interest of Ethiopia of which he is a leader and that he is ruining his political career by acting JESUS for the Eritreans. Human kind is thankful to JESUS for dying for our sins, but the Eritreans are most ungrateful to Meles though he is in the process of dying for them and taking Ethiopia into an abyss with him. They are predators and he is being their most vulnerable prey. Melee's political enemies are also using his strange policy towards the Eritrean question as a pry to dismantle him, to disparage him, to ruin him, and scrape him. It is his prerogative to be a vulnerable prey for the Eritrans and his political enemies. But this is causing grave consequences to our beloved Ethiopia also. The Eritrean predators maliciously, and his political enemies unknowingly, are working day and night to scramble Ethiopia. All this, because of his strange and mistaken policy towards Eritrea. He narrowly escaped impeachment for being a double agent in his handling of the Eritrean problem, which was also the cause of the split and break down of the TPLF. He is never circumspect on this issue. Why is he going through all these predicaments for Eritrea?.

The valiant sons and daughters of Tigrean farmers were used in the fight against the infamous Dergue regime that brought about the so-called Eritrean independence for which the Eritreans are being most ungrateful. Soon after they controlled Eritrea, thousands of Ethiopians were sent home (deported) without warning leaving their belongings behind that they acquired working for many years. PM Meles did not take action or say a word. When the Ethiopian people demanded for retaliation, Meles used the mass media to refute the Eritrean action. He lied. Protecting his own citizens is alien to Meles, but protecting Eritrean citizens is his priority. Eritreans remained all over Ethiopia holding key government agencies and private jobs. Eritreans were also given sweeping privileges to borrow millions of money from Ethiopian banks on Meles's orders to develop Eritrea. This money was never paid back.

In 1998, the Eritreans occupied parts of the territories in Northern Ethiopia in a surprise aggression, using mechanized army that resulted in the genocide of thousands of innocent farmers and the dislocation of thousands of others and total destruction of farm lands and dwellings. The sons and daughters of these same farmers fought and sacrificed their lives for the independence of these Eritrean aggressors. The Ethiopian defense forces were not at the boarders at the time. No one expected an armed aggression from a brotherly or friendly neighbor for which independence thousands of Ethiopians sacrificed their lives.

In the final and decisive war to route out the Eritrean aggressors from our lands, the gallant Ethiopian defense forces dislodged the aggressors from the occupied Ethiopian territories at lightening speeds and were all over most of Eritrea. However, PM Meles ordered to stop the war just when the Ethiopian defense forces were on the verge of getting unconditional surrender from the retreating Eritrean army. Thus, Meles went to great lengths to save our enemies from total defeat and shame. Nevertheless, this was a total defeat and shame for the Eritreans who were boasting that they were the strongest army in the horn of Africa. They crumbled and fumbled in a matter of hours. They are paper tigers like their colonial masters. The Italians.

IT IS NEVER TOO LATE FOR MELES

Now, it seems that this proud and ancient land of Ethiopia is on the verge of being scrambled. It seems that Meles is willing and wheeling to reward the aggressors with Ethiopian territories using the UN as proxy. Terribly, terribly, dangerous act. Because, if so, this is invalid and a grievous act and someone will grievously pay for it  Meles will be overthrown and Ethiopians will go to war against Eritrea tomorrow, which will result in the total destruction of the so-called Eritrea.

The Ethiopians won the war of aggression and winners of wars of aggression have the right to decide the fate of their country and the fate of the defeated aggressors as well. Meles must refer to World War ll as to what the Allied countries did to Germany, Japan and Italy, the aggressors and losers of the war.

Now that the rulings of the UN boarder commission is wrong, biased, and in favor of the aggressors, it is time for Meles to scrape the Algiers's agreement and do what is right for his country. PM Meles must stop being a prey to the Eritrean predators and his political enemies. This is the only way to save Ethiopia and protect him from being pried and scraped by his political enemies. Meles's serious problem is mishandling the Eritrean question. He must be tough, and stand for his country, and things will work out right, because the Ethiopian people will stand behind him making him invulnerable if he stands for Ethiopia only. He can change his policy towards the Eritrean question, say no to the Algiers agreement, because it is wrong and is not in the best interest of Ethiopia. The UN and others that he trusted would judge fairly have clearly betrayed and let him down. They are purposely being ambiguous, incomplete, and conniving. The only thing that is permanent is change. He can change. Changing is permanent. Because; in this case it is in the best interest of Ethiopia. He must disregard the UN and big power opinions, which will last for a week and subside. He must stop begging theUN for clarifications and to minimize mass dislocation of Ethiopians from their own land!!! How can he come to this being a winner and having an upper hand!  This is a matter of highest importance affecting Ethiopia's destiny. No compromise with Ethiopia's destiny. The UN and the big powers must  not  allow this act of treason by conniving with Meles.
